PLYMOUTH, MA (May 23, 2001) - Harvest®Technologies, an autologous biomaterials company providing solutions that enhance the body's normal healing process resulting in improved surgical outcomes, today announced the appointment of Andrew McGillicuddy to the position of Chief Financial Officer. The Board decided to appoint a Chief Financial Officer in response to the considerable growth in revenues resulting from the significant market acceptance of the Company's flagship product, the "SmartPReP System". Andrew will be working closely with senior management and the Board in assessing various strategic alternatives that the Company's rapid growth has made available.
Andrew brings extensive mergers and acquisition, financial operating and public company experience to the Harvest team. His background includes the financial management of fast paced entrepreneurial ventures, investor relations, SEC regulatory and registration expertise, systems design and implementation as well as having participated in multiple deals valued at over one billion dollars.
